As the name suggests, this is the idea for dining in Aruba. With sounds of the ocean caressing the beach in the background, the tropical breeze through your hair and your feet in the white sand, all while enjoying great food, marvelous wines and friendly, yet professional service.
Luc & Gerco started Barefoot, in 2010, in this perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island.

A great experience all around, the food was spectacular, the team of servers and runners were in synch. Even when a small mistake was made, it was addressed immediately with a complimentary glass of wine for the inconvenience. The drinks came out within minutes of ordering. The hot dinner rolls with garlic butter melted in your mouth. The Chicken Parmigiana was a huge portion and quite delicious. The dessert choices are unrivaled, The Banana Tiramisu was unbelievably good. The Dutch Apple Streusel was amazing. A great touch was when we asked for two plates to split a brownie sundae, they divided the portion onto two separate plates and were beautifully plated. It was these little touches that made it an unbelievable experience. We can not wait to go back!
Another wonderful meal. This has been our go to restaurant for the last night on the island for the last 10 years. Schedule at Sunset the views are amazing. The Flirtini is delicious. I had the Beef Carpaccio which was a very nice size and enough to share with Hubbie. It had a small sampling in the middle of the plate that tasted like a tiny Caesar salad, and it was sprinkled with pine nute. He had the Caesar Salad and said it was the best on the island. (We've eaten many places). I had the Grouper with mango, and it was very tasty and a good size. Hubbie had shrimp something or other. He was too busy eating to let me know how he liked it, but the plate was clean so there's that. The service is very attentive.
An amazing setting sitting at a table on the beach watching a beautiful sunset with drinks and a fabulous meal. The service was excellent. Mojitos were so refreshing. The appetizer of beef capaccio was exquisite. My meal was grouper with mango cream cheese in mango sauce which was cooked perfect. His meal was grouper with a crust which was deserved as delicious. The key lime pie was so tasty. What a perfect evening at this restaurant. We will visit again next year while in Aruba. Reservations must be made in advance for the beach tables.

When driving from the hotels towards the airport, you will pass down town.
After a mile you will see the roundabout at Talk of the Town hotel.
Take the first turn, towards the ocean. Follow this road until the first exit on your right side.
Now you will arrive on our designated parking area.
